Games Workshop Releases for November 6th

Orktober is in the rearview, but that doesn’t stop us from reaching a new milestone of Games Workshop Releases for November 6th. This week’s focus expands their line of boxed games with releases for Aeronautica Imperialis, Adeptus Titanicus, and Kill Team. Then we have a range of new and improved hobby tools for assembly and painting. Let’s dig in!

Kill Team – Chalnath

This is the huge release for the week. Kill Team: Chalnath takes us far from the ravaged Octarius sector to the Vedik System. Here faith and futurism clash as Adepta Sororitas Noviates clash against T’au Empire Pathfinders.

A new unit for the Adepta Sororitas, Noviates are newly trained Sisters of Battle seeking entry into the main ranks of their order. Armed with a mixture of auto pistols and brutal melee weapons, the Noviates are sure to make an impact once they close the range.

Ranged against them are the Pathfinders of the T’au Empire. In the close confines of Kill Team, their pulse carbines and markerlights make them a fierce ranged foe. The presence of a trio of suphisticated drones, especially the Recon Drone, provides protection and firepower to the lightly armored T’au. While the base kit is the standard T’au Pathfinder Team, GW includes a new options sprue with additional heads, guns, and other gear.

Additionally, the box comes with a set of Imperial Ruins, game board, and a 96-page campaign book with lore, Spec Ops, and nine scenarios.

Available separately, show your devotion to the Emperor or the Greater Good with a themed dice set. The Adepta Sororitas Dice Set displays orange symbols on a black die while the T’au Empire Dice Set reverses the pattern to black on orange.

Support the Warmaster with Traitor Legios. This book serves as your guide to the followers of the Dark Gods with background and rules for 11 different Titan Legions, 12 Traitor Knight houses, and new rules for maniple formations and Stratagems.

Among the largest of the god-engines, the Warmaster Iconoclast Heavy Battle Titan closes and destroys your enemy. The Iconoclast arrives armed with a massive chainsword and your choice of a Grav Imploder or Krius Siege Drill. Or both with a set of magnets!

Expand your Adeptus Astartes forces from Angels of Death with a pair of new kits!

Finally here, the long awaited Thunderhawk Gunship takes to the skies. This plastic kit captures the iconic Space Marine vehicle in fantastic detail. The rugged airframe, array of weapons, and transport capacity allow you to dominate in aerial combat and ground strikes.

When the mission profile contains multiple targets Thunderhawks may take too long to get them all. Instead lift off with a pair of Fire Raptors. Replacing troops with additional weapons and ordinance, these they can be in two places at once.

Citadel Hobby Tools

Building off of years of experience with their hobby tools line, these new and improved products help you get the most from your models.

The newest iteration of the Citadel Painting Handle XL holds models on up to 170mm bases while still accommodating their lesser brethren.

The Citadel Assembly Stand takes the original concept and puts it on a sturdier foundation. The wide base prevents large models from tipping tipping the Stand over. The middle recess accepts Citadel Painting Handles, once again providing a stable position for assembly or painting. Additionally, the arms are removeable and fit the XL Handle. Now you can secure the largest of your models!

The Citadel Sub-assembly Holder (shown left) comes with 44 plastic pegs. With a piece glued to the pegs you’ll have 360 degree access to the details. When done just snip it off the holder to finish your painted model. No more missing hard to reach spots!

The improved Citadel Spray Stick now rotates to quickly coat your entire model without Slaaneshi contortions. Keep the Inquisition at arms link and your models evenly coated at the same time!

Preorders for Games Workshop releases go live on Saturday at 12:01am. We’ll continue taking reservations until the release date or while supplies last. Items reduced to zero stock through allocation or sales will be left visible on CMO Games. Check back for restocks!
