Necron Releases on Preorder at CMO Games

COMMAND PROTOCOLS ENACTED
WELCOME BACK, OVERLORD

The Necrons enter a new era this October 10th with the release of their Ninth Edition Codex and a host of models. CMO Games now has the new Necron releases on preorder for October 10th. Let’s enable our Command Protocols and review the offerings.

Codex – Necrons
Your starting point for the entire Necron army, this 120-page hardcover book contains all the Datasheets, Strategems, rules, background, and descriptions you’ll need to field an undying force of robotic warriors.

Datacards – Necrons
A 61-card deck containing copies of your core Strategems, specialist Necron Strategems, C’tan Powers, and Command Protocols. No more flipping through your book to find that elusive combination, you can have it right out on the board.

Szarekh, The Silent King
The rightful ruler of the entire Necron Empire, Szarekh, The Silent King leads your legions into battle. Preview rules for Szarekh appeared on Warhammer Community, but the Codex contains even more. His overlapping auras, defensive Menhirs, and multiple ranged and melee options cement his position at the head of the Necron legions.

Lokhust Heavy Destroyer
The Heavy Destroyer, rebranded as the Lokhust, received a host of upgrades with the new Codex. In addition to gaining a Wound, Necron players now have a choice of weapons to outfit the Heavy Destroyer. The Gauss Destructor replaces the Heavy Gauss Cannon. The weapon has increased strength and vastly more reliable Damage (3D3!) On the other manipulator, the enmitic exterminator fires 3D3 shots for 1 Damage each, perfect for wiping out light infantry and eroding heavy infantry units. In addition to forming their own unit, a single Lokhust Heavy Destroyer may join a regular Destroyer unit.

Canoptek Doomstalker
The latest Cryptek construct, Canoptek Doomstalkers are tall, dark, and very deadly. Each model is armed with an impressive doomslayer blaster which deals D6 Damage with every S10, -5 AP hit. Worse, for your opponent, they retain BS 4+ for their entire 12 Wound damage track. To top it all off, the Crypteks installed a Containment Field with a 5+ invulnerable save. Redundancy!

Preorders end this Friday. At that point, all Necron releases become regular sale items. Look for Preorder updates on the 10th with next weeks schedules items.
