CMOGames now stocks the Diorama Effects line from Vallejo. Whether you’re building a display board for a wargame tournament, basing individual models, or detailing a centerpiece model the Diorama Effects adds detail to your work. Additionally, the line is acrylic based, so the applications are non flammable and do not contain solvents making it much safer to work with than other products.
The Diorama Effects line is split, at the moment, into 4 catagories. Water Texture, Earth Texture, Ground Texture, and Thick Mud, each having a variety of different items for your desired result
Water Textures are liquids and gels, either transparent or translucent, for recreating everything from rain puddles to deep water. They are available in Atlantic Blue, Mediterranean Blue, Pacific Blue, Transparent Water, and a liquid Still Water.
The Ground Textures are mostly pastes combined from mixing resins, ground stone, and other materials. Diorama Effects include Snow, White Stone, Grey Sand, Rough White Pumice, and Rough Grey Pumice.
Earth Textures are much darker than Ground Textures, but are formed of similar materials into a thick paste. Choose from Desert Sand, Brown Earth, Dark Earth, and Black Lava-Asphalt.
The final set of products in the Diorama Effects line are Thick Mud. While still a paste, they are mixable with Airbrush Thinner to create different densities and realistic splatter. Available in Light Brown Mud, Industrial Thick Mud, European Mud, Brown Mud, Russian Mud, and Black Thick Mud.
