Teased at the end of Fantasy Flight Games’ Gen Con In-Flight Video, Descent – Legends of the Dark has now received an official announcement, price point, and detailed preview.

Game Art, Miniatures, and Components
Fantasy Flight Games continues to pack their games with impressive art and miniatures.
As well as packed full of dice, terrain, counters, and a massive number of double-sided cards and game boards.
The game uses an integrated companion app, allowing all players to work together to save Terrinoth. The app will control all the “GM” portions of the game from enemy activation to unveiling new portions of the map as the players progress. After games, the app even provides shopping and crafting opportunities for your adventurers.
For owners of Descent – Journey in the Dark, Legends shares the background and themes of Journey, but is explicitly not a third edition and will not be compatible.
The current retail price stands at $174.95 with an expected release in the second quarter of 2021.
