On a close look, the Black Templar Army Set contains 13 miniatures. While the Redemptor, shown here with gatling cannon and Redemptor fist, is an old friend, the remaining models are new sculpts. The Emperor’s Champion, lower left, and Marshall, lower right, bring focused melee power to the set. Meanwhile, they are supported by a Primaris Crusader squad. As is traditional for the Black Templars, the Crusader squad contains both five power armored Initiates and fo urlighter armored Neophytes. They are led by a full Sword Brother.
An army set wouldn’t be complete without a full art version of the Codex Supplement. In this case, graced with outstanding John Blanche art from the cover of Warhammer 40,000 3rd edition. In addition to army data sheets, inspired crusaders will find Templar Vows and Passions, Strategems, Relics, wargear, and all new Crusade rules.
Finally, the set includes a deck of Black Templar datacards for your Strategems and Vows and a 226 decal sheet (not shown) to bedeck your Templars.
