Pre-orders for the Adeptus Mechanicus releasing June 6th, 2020
Psychic Awakening - Engine War is a 104-page hardback expansion and is the next release in the Psychic Awakening series. Psychic Awakening - Engine War is the biggest book to date and an essential purchase for every Adeptus Mechanicus collector. Warhammer 40K: Psychic Awakening - Engine War contains extensive rules updates for: Adeptus Mechanicus, Imperial Knights, Chaos Knights and Chaos Daemons.
Adeptus Mechanicus - Tech-Priest Manipulus is nne of the default Adeptus Mechanicus HQ choices. Adeptus Mechanicus - Tech-Priest Manipulus kit includes 2 alternate heads and 2 weapon options. Available previously as part of the Kill Team Theta 7 Acquisitus set, Adeptus Mechanicus - Tech-Priest Manipulus is available separately for the first time.
Adeptus Mechanicus - Archaeopter is a multipart plastic kit, containing one Citadel Miniature that can be built as one of three different variants: gunship, bomber or transport vehicle.
In addition to being able to transport up to 6 Secutarii, Electro-Priest, Tech-Priest or Skitarii models, the Archaeopter Transvector is armed with two cognis heavy stubbers and a twin cognis heavy stubber with which it can lay down covering fire. The Archaeopter Transvector can also be upgraded with chaff launchers to thwart incoming enemy fire. The combination of speed, freedom of the skies and transport capacity makes an Archaeopter Transvector a great choice for grabbing distant objectives with disembarking Skitarii.
This kit can alternatively be used to build an Archaeopter Fusilave or Archaeopter Stratoraptor instead, meaning that regardless of which unit you assemble, you'll end up with plenty of spare components for customizing your collection.
One of many specialized castes of cyborg warriors available to the Adeptus Mechanicus, the Pteraxii are optimized for instinctive reaction and agility. Pteraxii’s reflexes are accentuated by paring back elements of cogitation that impede their primary function. Implanted with additional limbstumps – scapuli superior – on their back, a flight pack of thrusters and reactive life surfaces is connected to them. The flight packs become part of the Pteraxii, who serve in several roles. Skystalkers find optimal vantage points from which to pick off their targets – whether isolated battlefield marks or feral psyber familiars and servo-cherubim – with flurries of razor-sharp flechettes.
Pteraxii Skystalkers are armed with flechette carbines, enabling them to unleash a withering storm of solid shot at their enemies from a safe distance. The unit's Alpha is instead equipped with a flechette blaster and taser goad. They offer superb anti-infantry fire support, but they also carry braces of arc grenades which they can drop among the enemy as they soar overhead.
This kit can alternatively be used to build a unit of Pteraxii Sterylizors instead, meaning that regardless of which unit you assemble, you'll end up with plenty of spare components for customizing your collection.
Warhammer 40K: Adeptus Mechanicus - Serberys Raiders
To be promoted from the Skitarii maniples to the Serberys corps is a great honour. They ride swift quadrupedal constructs whose razor-clawed limbs allow them to manoeuvre easily over the most shattered terrain, while their riders are mag-locked in gyro-stabilized positions. Serberys Raiders are long-range scouts and outriders. They excel at outflanking enemy forces and picking off unprotected assets. Advanced ocular arrays implanted into the riders’ skulls are noospherically linked with their mounts, ensuring maximum accuracy, while finely calibrated olfactory sensors and a suite of sensitive augury equipment make them dogged and feared trackers.
Serberys Raiders are well equipped for combat at every distance, with galvanic carbines offering ranged punch and finely crafted cavalry sabers for melee combat. The squad’s alpha is also armed with a hard-hitting archeo-revolver. They make for a versatile vanguard unit, able to ride ahead of their fellow Skitarii and even snipe at enemy command assets.
This kit can alternatively be used to build a unit of Serberys Sulphurhounds instead, meaning that regardless of which unit you assemble, you'll end up with plenty of spare components for customizing your collection.
